Impulsive Decisions Do You Good

Have you ever thought of quitting your job if you are not enjoying it for some unknown reasons? I bet we all have did so in some point of time in our life.

Have you ever planned of things that can be done after quitting the job ? Again, the answer may come in positive.

I did just that in December 2014. Having been in the economic capital of Gujarat, Ahmedabad for close to 2 years now as a content writer for a well known company, I was somehow not enjoying it despite giving my more than cent percent efforts.

I suddenly gave my resignation and they were kind enough to accept it without any issues. What was most surprising to me was that my family also were supportive enough of my decision. They asked me to take a few days. I had wanted to visit North India and possibly the Himalayas, but nature chose otherwise and played a Villian's role plus the NRI season and expensive packages.

I managed to choose another option: That of going to Kutchch and experience the Royalty factor.

The Gujarat Tourism department came to my help and up I went on a 5 day journey to almost all the regions of Kutchch.

It did give me a nice opportunity to do photography, meet new people, see new handicrafts and embroidery items.

2000 km in just 5 days and it left me gasping for more....

By god's grace, I also got a new job in my own city.

Will keep posting the photos more.

Art Thou Corporate Life!

Hello Guys,

It is almost the end of the year 2014. People are gearing up for the New Year and New Possibilities and beginnings. Yet, the market is also abuzz with speculations that HP may get little leaner with its workforce in the new year.

This is Corporate life!  One minute, you are the king of your own domain or the center of attraction, while the next minute, you may come down the ladder. This is much like the game of Snakes and Ladders.

From my personal experience, I can say that in today's age if you are dedicated and sincere in your work but not vocal enough of your achievements and accomplishments in the office, nobody notices you. You also have to develop the skill of 'buttering' your boss like others. That's how you can be ignored for your 'misadventures' in your office sometimes by your boss. Females are more adept in this.

The present corporate life thinks that employees are robots or Humanoids. Such has the life been rolling nowadays that workers are made to toil for 12 hours a day or more. And even then, the job is not guaranteed to last. Office politics, buttering, etc also plays a role as I noted above, the higher management will make big plans to engage employees and keep up their moods, but in reality, they will only throw some bread crumbs. It will forever expect the lower management to think only on the company's side.

But now the time has come and the corporate groups should seriously consider thinking on both the sides of the coin. Otherwise, loyal and dedicated employees will simply cease to co-exist.

Just my point of view.

Samsung Technology at its Great Innovative Level

Guys,

My colleague and friend at Lets Nurture, Harshil Patel, who is a wonderful and intellectual techno blog writer has posted some innovative and informative  blog on Samsung’s latest product titled as  ‘Samsung Note 4’.
What are the new features?

Let me state them in brief before giving you the link of his blog

‘Shining Design’

‘”With the release of Galaxy and Note in the past, Samsung has changed the entire smartphone era! Having sleek design and creative graphics, these phones created quite a buzz in the market. Unpacked Episode 1 at Barcelona on 24th February, 2014 was a delight for all the Android users, as Samsung Galaxy s5 was unpacked. The smart ‘S Pen’ release made all these devices even better. But this was just a beginning for Samsung smartphone users!”

‘Colors and Pixels’

“Note 4 was unveiled amidst the audience and it had a sparkling design with vibrant colors. You will be able to see few features of Galaxy 5 in this smartphone. The device has come up with a dynamic lock screen supporting HD images with 2560 x 1440 pixels. Hence, it has opened the doors for android application development providing firms to work on apps with HD images.”

Some Practical Things Worth Knowing

It is something that needs to be followed upon practically.
It is something that needs to be thought of practically

But, is it something that we all do it practically?

Over the past one year, I have learnt many things in practical way in relation with relations ( How ironical) and friends.

I am putting some of them here. I am sure some of these things also apply to you

1. Mentally, the worst feeling is feeling unwanted by the one person you want -
What do you think?

2. What others think about you is not important. What you think about yourself means everything.
Your dreams are reflective of emotions in which you keep bottled up inside.
Yes.. Personally, now I am also feeling the same.

3. There comes a time when you have to stop crossing oceans for people who wouldn't even jump puddles for you.
Yes.. started doing the same now

4-When stressed by a situation(s), take a moment to think whether you will even remember this event in 5 years.
Sahi baat

5-We all make mistakes, don't act like you're better than someone else.

6- Don't trust people who change their feelings with time. Trust those who's feelings remain the same when time changes.
That can only be known when time changes... by that time, you have got a pretty good experience of those people, isnt it?

7. Some day when scientists discover the center of the universe, many people are going to be disappointed to find out it isn't them.
Yes.. funnily.. they are

8-Stop worrying about people that aren't worried about you.

9-You change for two reasons: either you learn enough that you want to or you’ve been hurt enough that you have to.
I have changed for both the reasons. heheh

10-Success is the ability to keep losing until you win.

11-Staring at the ocean for 5-10 minutes each day can help ease the mind, strengthen your immune system & relieve stress.

12-Forgive others. Not because they deserve forgiveness, but because you deserve peace.

What options do you have?

Surat Magic

I have traveled to Surat many times, but it has always been a journey of 4 hours atleast. But yesterday, I took me only 1.5 hours. I had taken a Bandra bound double decker train with my brother. He was going to visit a friend and I wanted some refreshment after a tiring week at office

Again, as I stepped out of the station, I was reminded of another funny incident that happened 4 years back.

"Bro, where are you? I am standing near the entrance gate."
"Kuldip" "Come near the Airtel Billboard advt."
" I cant see the billboard you are talking about. There is only BSNL advertisement board in front of me"
"What are you talking about dude, Cant you see that big one right in front of you?"
No, I can only see the BSNL.

The argument continued with my cousin brother for couple of 5 minutes on the phone until both of us realized that there were 2 different billboard advertisement on each side of the road, with one facing the railway station and the one facing the road.

It was completely hilarious.

By the way this link is only an experiment for me. Don't push yourself to clicking on it

Friends or No Friends... or Just a Temporary Stranger

Temporary stranger? Yes, could not find a more appropriate word at the moment I am writing this blog

What do you call a person you connect on a personal level to? A friend I guess. A stranger you suddenly meet upon one fine day, interact with on a daily basis, connect with and then think of them as a friend.

All goes well.. for some time.. until one fine day or as days go by.. you get a hidden feeling that the friend you are connected to is ignoring you for no reason at all. You observe, you try to talk... you get ignored once again. You try to ask.. but get unsatisfactory answers... answers that have no meaning. And a doubt comes to your mind. Did some certain person say something against me to the friend? Was it just a routine time pass to make?

And.. the friend is only a good friend.. nothing else
 so what is the solution?

As they say.. time heals.. but time may take too much time, which may or may not be good. But the only solution is to let it go.. let it heal on its own. If something good comes out of it, it's good.. otherwise.. then also it's good. You have tasted a new lesson -about life and practicality.

Can not write longer and more on this.. loss of words.. and ideas.
