I am at.... or he is at...or this person is at....

Does it matter?

I mean... we often see people posting status on their social media accounts like Facebook or Twitter or other social forums...that they are at a particular place... but how does that matter to anyone else or the third person in particular other than their family?

It is fine if they are really at a famous place or a popular place that they post status like " kj is at..Taj Hotel...or mahal.
ya fine... good.. but does it really matter if they are at any random place and they post that status via their smartphone?

No, I dont think so... who has the time to really mind about who is at which place...
Just a normal waste of time...

Do what is right but be pure

Hear my voice Hard it is to be born,
Hard it is to live,Harder still to hear of the way,
And hard to rise, follow, and awaken.
Yet the reaching is simple.Do what is right. Be pure.
At the end of the way is freedom.Till then, patience.
If you wound or grieve another,You have not learned detachment.
Offend in neither word nor deed.
Eat with moderation.Live in your heart.
Seek the highest consciousness.Master yourself according to the dharma.
This is the simple teaching of the awakened.
The rain could turn to gold And still your thirst would not be slaked.
Desire is unquenchable Or it ends in tears, even in heaven.
He who wishes to awaken Consumes his desires joyfully.

How about being swallowed by a hippo and being saved?

Yes, as the title suggest.. It is a story of a person who was swallowed by a hippo and yet survived in the end losing his colleague.

In Peter Hoffman's words:

" The hippo who tried to kill me wasn't a stranger – he and I had met before a number of times. I was 27 and owned a business taking clients down the Zambezi river near Victoria Falls. I'd been working this stretch of river for years, and the grouchy old two-ton bull had carried out the occasional half-hearted attack. I'd learned to avoid him. Hippos are territorial and I knew where he was most likely to be at any given time."

I was aware that my legs were surrounded by water, but my top half was almost dry. I seemed to be trapped in something slimy. There was a terrible, sulphurous smell, like rotten eggs, and a tremendous pressure against my chest. My arms were trapped but I managed to free one hand and felt around – my palm passed through the wiry bristles of the hippo's snout. It was only then that I realised I was underwater, trapped up to my waist in his mouth.
I wriggled as hard as I could, and in the few seconds for which he opened his jaws, I managed to escape. I swam towards Evans, but the hippo struck again, dragging me back under the surface. I'd never heard of a hippo attacking repeatedly like this, but he clearly wanted me dead."
To read full  part of the story.. read here. It is worth a read.

When age is just a Number

Hey Guys..
How's it going?
How are you coping with the heat if you are based in India?

Last time, we had talked about one of the bravest man in Indian army who is now gone-Sam Manekshaw.

Now, how would you feel if you were in different planets of the solar system and wanted to know your age.

I have not studied Physics that much, but we all know that our age calculation differs and is different from that of earth when we are on different planets.

On this website I am going to give here, You will get your age in days and years when you are on different planets. As an example, I saw that , on present age of mine-28 years, my most old age was that on Mercury of about 119 years.
I am shown very young in my days of Jupiter and Pluto. About 15 and  0.115 years respectively.
Wow...
Check it out on this website.  You will love it.
Also, you will get an explanation down below, on why your age seems to be different. For all those science guys.. there are kepler laws listed with examples. A great website. Try it.

Someone has rightly said. Age is just a number,

See ya Guys
Share your age..

SAM Manekshaw- The Parsi Brave man of India.

Hey guys, here I am again. Yesterday, I was thinking of how and why the two countries -U.S.A and Korea are headstrong on each other and are on the verge of War. It bought my attention on our immediate neighbors who are ever plotting to stab us on our back-The India.

And guess what! The same day, I got a forwarded email from my boss at LetsNurture about an Indian hero who was a Parsi-the peace loving community man, yet a brave soldier in Indian Army. The person who was the first field marshal in the Indian army and the person who was instrumental in bringing us victory in the war against Bangladesh. Here, I am presenting some of the great man- Sam Manekshaw's own words experience on his mission to Kashmir. It is a bit long but worth reading friends.

The story he tells here is from the time when he was a colonel in the Army during early Indian independence time.

Here it goes:

Then a colonel, he was chosen to accompany V P Menon on his historic mission to Kashmir. This is his version of that journey and its aftermath, as recorded in an interview with Prem Shankar Jha.

At about 2.30 in the afternoon, General Sir Roy Bucher walked into my room and said, 'Eh, you, go and pick up your toothbrush. You are going to Srinagar with V P Menon. The flight will take off at about 4 o'clock'. I said, 'why me, sir?'

'Because we are worried about the military situation. V P Menon is going there to get the accession from the Maharaja and Mahajan.' I flew in with V P Menon in a Dakota. Wing Commander Dewan, who was then squadron leader Dewan, was also there. But his job did not have anything to with assessing the military situation. He was sent by the Air Force because it was the Air Force which was flying us in.'

Since I was in the Directorate of Military Operations, and was responsible for current operations all over India, West Frontier, the Punjab, and elsewhere, I knew what the situation in Kashmir was. I knew that the tribesmen had come in - initially only the tribesmen - supported by the Pakistanis.

Fortunately for us, and for Kashmir, they were busy raiding, all along. In Baramulla they killed Colonel D O T Dykes. Dykes and I were of the same seniority. We did our first year's attachment with the Royal Scots in Lahore, way back in 1934-5. Tom went to the Sikh regiment. I went to the Frontier Force regiment. We'd lost contact with each other. He'd become a lieutenant colonel. I'd become a full
colonel.

Tom and his wife were holidaying in Baramulla when the tribesmen killed them. The Maharaja's forces were 50 per cent Muslim and 50 per cent Dogra.

The Muslim elements had revolted and joined the Pakistani forces. This was the broad military situation. The tribesmen were believed to be about 7 to 9 kilometers from Srinagar. I was sent into get the precise military situation. The army knew that if we had to send soldiers, we would have to fly them in. Therefore, a few days before, we had made arrangements for aircraft and for soldiers to be ready.

But we couldn't fly them in until the state of Kashmir had acceded to India. From the political side, Sardar Patel and V P Menon had been dealing with Mahajan and the Maharaja, and the idea was that V.P Menon would get the Accession, I would bring back the military appreciation and report to the government. The troops were already at the airport, ready to be flown in. Air Chief Marshall Elmhurst was the air chief
and he had made arrangements for the aircraft from civil and military sources.

Anyway, we were flown in. We went to Srinagar. We went to the palace. I have never seen such disorganization in my life. The Maharaja was running about from one room to the other. I have never seen so much jewellery in my life  pearl necklaces, ruby things, lying in one room; packing here, there, everywhere. There was a convoy of vehicles.

Jawaharlal Nehru and The Maharaja were coming out of one room, and going into another saying, 'Alright, if India doesn't help, I will go and join my troops and fight (it) out'.

I couldn't restrain myself, and said, 'That will raise their morale sir'. Eventually, I also got the military situation from everybody around us, asking what the hell was happening, and discovered that the tribesmen were about seven or nine kilometers from what was then that horrible little airfield.

V P Menon was in the meantime discussing with Mahajan and theMaharaja. Eventually the Maharaja signed the accession papers and we flew back in the Dakota late at night. There were no night facilities, and the people who were helping us to fly back, to light the airfield, were Sheikh Abdullah, Kasimsahib, Sadiqsahib, Bakshi Ghulam Mohammed,D P Dhar with pine torches, and we flew back to Delhi. I can't remember the exact time. It must have been 3 o'clock or 4 o'clock in the morning.

(On arriving at Delhi) the first thing I did was to go and report to Sir Roy Bucher. He said, 'Eh, you, go and shave and clean up. There is a cabinet meeting at 9 o'clock. I will pick you up and take you there.' So I went home, shaved, dressed, etc. and Roy Bucher picked me up, and we went to the cabinet meeting.

The cabinet meeting was presided by Mountbatten. There was Jawaharlal Nehru, there was Sardar Patel, there was Sardar Baldev Singh. There were other ministers whom I did not know and did not want to know, because I had nothing to do with them. Sardar Baldev Singh I knew because he was the minister for defence, and I knew Sardar Patel, because Patel would insist that V P Menon take me with him to the
various states.

Almost every morning the Sardar would sent for V P, H M Patel and myself. While Maniben (Patel's daughter and de facto secretary) would sit cross-legged with a Parker fountain pen taking notes, Patel would say, 'V P, I want Baroda. Take him with you.' I was the bogeyman. So I got to know the Sardar very well.

At the morning meeting he handed over the (Accession) thing. Mountbatten turned around and said, ' come on Manekji (He called me Manekji instead of Manekshaw), what is the military situation?' I gave him the military situation, and told him that unless we flew in troops immediately, we would have lost Srinagar, because going by road would take days, and once the tribesmen got to the airport and Srinagar, we
couldn't fly troops in. Everything was ready at the airport.

As usual Nehru talked about the United Nations, Russia, Africa, God almighty, everybody, until Sardar Patel lost his temper. He said, 'Jawaharlal, do you want Kashmir, or do you want to give it away'. He (Nehru) said,' Of course, I want Kashmir (emphasis in original). Then he (Patel) said 'Please give your orders'. And before he could say anything Sardar Patel turned to me and said, 'You have got your orders'.

I walked out, and we started flying in troops at about 11 o'clock or 12 o'clock. I think it was the Sikh regiment under Ranjit Rai that was the first lot to be flown in. And then we continued flying troops in. That is all I know about what happened. Then all the fighting took place. I became a brigadier, and became director of military operations and also if you will see the first signal to be signed ordering the cease-fire on 1 January (1949) had been signed by Colonel Manekshaw on behalf of C-in-C India, General Sir Roy Bucher. That must be lying in the Military Operations Directorate.

That was Sam Manekshaw for you.. Some more will come up on him pretty soon. I think the only person who should have been born twice in India today is this guy. I thank my Boss Mr. Ketan Raval for forwarding me this email.
See ya guys soon.

Gandhingar-The city of Silent Joy

GANDHINAGAR

Welcome to 2013 and Happy new year. From past 1 month and so, I have again shifted my base to Gandhinagar. I love this place. Good place to relax and do your job.

Gandhinagar has always held a special place in my heart. Right from my childhood, I have been coming to Gandhinagar almost every year for 1 week stay to couple of months or more. Why do I come that often? Well, I like greenery and when you want to see greenery in a city or a city in a green environment, you have to head towards Gandhinagar.
When I was small, I used to come during my vacations with my parents to Gandhinagar to visit my cousins and uncles. Sometimes, during weekend holidays, I used to hitch a ride with my grandparents in my car who used to go to visit my uncles. My grandfather was a high rank officer who was a forest officer in Gujarat cadre. His genes came down to me, and I started loving greenery. Every time I used to set foot in Gandhinagar or the local limits of Gandhinagar city would start, I would come to know. How? By the sheer greenery of trees around the city, you can get to know it.
Gandhinagar is the capital of Gujarat state. So naturally, you have the who’s who of Politics and Gujarat Ministry staying in Gandhinagar. Gandhinagar is just near Ahmadabad or you can say on the outskirts of Ahmadabad. But in the recent times, it is difficult to note the difference as because of recent developments taking place, they have become interconnected. Where Ahmadabad starts, Gandhinagar ends and vice versa. If you happen to live in Ahmadabad, you will notice the difference or the contrast. How was Gandhinagar named? Yes, you guessed it right. The city was named so after the name of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation. Gandhinagar-as said before is the capital of Gujarat and is located from 23 km north of Ahmadabad.

Gandhinagar starts where Ahmadabad ends. This city is well known for its education and research institutes. It is also believed to be second planned city in India after Chandigarh.
The city does not have any societies but has sectors instead as its residential area. There are total 30 sectors each in Gandhinagar. The main attraction of each sector is that each has its own shopping center, health center, school and Yes Gardens and Parks! There is extensive planting of trees on both sides of the road which gives the impression of the city as a garden city.

The population of Gandhinagar as it is the capital of Gujarat? Well it is only about 2.8+ Lacs approximately. And the weather? Oh well, that’s the other reason why I keep coming to the city. Because of the greenery, the weather remains around 35*c to 40*c at day time and at night time it goes to 19*c to max 28*c. Night time in Gandhinagar is always cool. Cool breeze, greenery and little coldness. What more do you want?

What is the Structure of the city?
The city was planned by the Architect H.K. Mewada and his assistant, educated in Cornell University. Both had experience in Chandigarh city planning. The streets of Gandhinagar are numbered on Gujarati alphabets like k", "kh", "g", "gh", "ch and more. All streets cross on every kilometer. The Roads are built such that traffic coming from Saurashtra can go to Gandhinagar directly without going to Ahmadabad. The road Link also gets connected to National Highway No 8 by 5 km link road.
The main city roads are normally rectangular of 1/3.4 km grid. The roads are built such like 30° North West and 60° north east to avoid direct morning and evening sun during journeys to and from work areas. There is ample scope for the natural air to come through wherever you are.
The main areas in the city are divided into:
Government Offices. (ii) Light Industries (iii) City Centre. (iv) Public Institutions Area. (v) Shopping, area. And (IV) IT Parks

The government offices consist of the Gujarat parliament, offices of the local government and local administration.

Public areas consist of homes and plots allotted and built by/for the public. Large gardens and playgrounds are available for public within walking distance. Shopping center and schools, health centers are also very near to the public within each sector. Almost everyone living in Gandhinagar has a small garden at their homes. There are around 300 persons per hectare Each sector has a post office, Police station, Banks, Clubs and a small play field area.

Now that we have seen the structure of the city, let me tell you the geography of this city in brief.

Geography of Gandhinagar.
Gandhinagar stands at an average elevation of 82 meters. Gandhinagar as I said before is laden with trees everywhere, as it has 55% of green cover of its land area. The Gujarat capital territory has defined about 20,543 km square around Gandhinagar. It is located from 23 km north of Ahmadabad.
The city is kind of a silent place if you love silence. There is a temple in each sector which gives a devotional feel to the environment. Years back, you would have found it very difficult to find an auto rickshaw after 8 pm, leave alone people on the roads. This was due to the fact that after 8 pm, people would not venture out of their homes due to the cold weather and lack of other amenities and facilities. Now the scene is different. You can find a rickshaw at 11 pm also and they have a couple of good Film theaters. Speaking of theaters, let’s talk about entertainment sector

If you are a lover of history, then you can visit the famous Adalaj step well, which is 18 km to south of the city. The well was built in 1499 by Queen Rudabai.
Then there is the famous Indroda Park which is like a mini zoo consisting of various sections like Jurassic park theme where you can find eggs of Dinosaurs from past ages, Deer Park, Snake Park, Different varieties of birds.  There is also a small zoo where leopards and tigers are kept in cages. A new structure is been building in the memory of Mahatma Gandhi called ‘Mahatma Mandir’.  It is located at sector 13. It will consist of museum, foods court, convention and exhibition center and landscaping pathway.
There is also a children’s park in sector 28 which has a small mini train and a small lake with boating facilities.

Of course you cannot miss the famous Swaminarayan temple ‘Akshardham’. The temple is a great example of grand architecture and good carvings on the walls of the temple and it is known for its structure. It was built by around 1000 artists and has about 6000 tonnes of Pink sandstones. There is also a lazer show at night there with wonderful colors. It is a must watch and go place

That is why it is also a good place for jogging, but be prepared to be run after by dogs who prefer to chase if you if they are in one of their moods. The roads are just fantastic as they are straight and smooth which makes you to speed up your vehicles without any roadblocks as such. People are peace loving and silence preferring.
For those who want to come to Gandhinagar, They can come  by Road from Ahmadabad or by other place. The bus stand is near the city limits only. The city also has railway station connected where 5 trains come every day.
So overall, if you want to seriously spend your time in a quiet place in weekend, come to Gandhinagar.

If you haven’t been to and seen Gandhinagar, you haven’t been anywhere.

co incidence or something else?

Hey guys,
Back again...
Have you ever encountered a co- incidence or something like that in your life? We all have some or the other time at some places . There are endless cases of them.

The co- incidence i am thinking about right now is the earthquake that happened in Haiti recently this month. Is it a co incidence ?

You must be thinking of why I am giving it this name. We all must have in memory of our minds the earthquake of Gujarat , specially in saurasthra region. It happened exactly 10 years before on republic day in january. I can remember it very well because I was in 10th std at that time and I was enjoying the wonderful holday sleeping in bed when my bed began shaking violently.I thought it was my mom trying to shake me out of my bed and sleep , so when I opened my eyes, I was shocked to see no one near me. Wow! For the first time I had experienced earthquake. All ran out of the house only to return 5 mins back safely . God had spared Baroda. But  it was january month at year 2000 .

And this haiti quake happened in Jan 2010 . Exactly 10 years after. Is this co incidence or nature trying to warn us or tell us something. This Haiti earthquake has not even spared the presidential palace there. Nature when furious spares no one.  god's or nature's sense of humour is going sick day by day. Playing practical jokes on people who are backward compared to other world and that too in a place of Haiti. sick humor...

bye guys.... see you sometime soon.

2012 . Finally the date arrives.

2 Post's in a year? I am coming down by my ability it seems, doesn't it? Well, we have the saying,
" When it rains. it rains. When it does not, it is not ".

So , the much awaited, much speculated and much feared upon date - 21-12-12 is finally here. The day of the said impended Doooooom, the End of the world!.And The End of the universe.   :)

Let me disappoint you all. The end is not coming. The doom is not happening . AND YOU ARE NOT GOING TO DIE, UNLESS YOU MAKE A CHOICE TO DO SO.

Yes, We all have the choice . Simple choice to make, difficult choice to make, easy choice to make and not so easy choice to make . Choices we have , but not the result after the choices. Ha! Another irony.

Some wise guy wearing a peacock feather on his crown in an Indian story called ' Mahabharat' has said in his series of lectures called " The Geeta" , that all people have options for choices of what they can do or they can not do, a set of actions they can do and do not do, what they THINK or do NOT THINK, BUT fortunately or unfortunately , The consequences are not decided by us. It's decided by some guy sitting up there, who is called the creator and who it seems is obssessed to give only results not the choices.
The peacock feather guy says.. " leave all your result worries after doing your actions".  We can think like, he is telling that we can drive while drinking but the results will not be in our hands . Of course he is right, The results will be for all to see when we might be paying our bills thankfully in hospital if we manage to say hi to nurses .

The choices you make, they say, decides our results. The choice of action, the choice of words, the choice of behavior.... blah blah blah.. That's the job.

So now coming back to this 2012 Movie ... most of us think that we are gonna end up dying or dead .
Guys, Lets get to some facts, some prophesies and some assumptions

Prophecy  No 1. For Hindus
Those Guys who are Hindus , they might know that the original guy called " Lord vishnu" is his last avatar or last action hero role will come down in role of "The Kalki" at end of kalyuga .
If this is still going to happen , then how come the world is going to end?

Prophesy No 2  For all guys of all religions
If that bearded Nostradamus and those ancient Mayans have said that last calender will be on 21 .12 then , there might be some truth in that. Yes, The truth is ... Nostradamus's vision might only be limited to that date and the calender of Mayan's might have no page left after 21st. Seriously.

Now the facts:
Like I said, The facts are there and they may be Topsy curvy. The first fact I said in prophecy no 1.
Second fact is, why are we waiting for the destruction to happen only on 21st December  Is not the destruction happening even now? Destruction of japan quake, Destruction of tsunami and volcanoes and all other major destruction that is happening or happened? That is also to be taken into account. Not to forget the destruction of us, Human bodies every day when some of us die, even when the cells of our bodies die every minute. That is also destruction. Isn't it?

As some modern day sages and saints, some enlightened ones say , it is our choices right now at this point of time that will make us live post 2012. Yes our choices.
The world or the earth they say , is going to shift from its present dimension- 3rd or 4th to a new dimension called the fifth dimension . This will stay so for another 26000 years. This new dimension they say, only consists of our choices again. Choice of love, choice of faith and choice of choice to decide the choice.
This new world will slowly be only of love, faith, spiritual and of uniting with your self, the real self, the real god and healing all around

There are many websites and videos on Google and elsewhere , if you search them with negative and fear inducing things. There are also good videos and websites on Facebook and Google  if you search them with positives , of what you can do to help yourself in this 2012 thing and how to get up ahead and rise aboveeee..  That is what and when you make a choice. What to see and what to believe.

Actually on 21st or near that date, they say that all planets are going to line up behind each other before the sun like good schoolboys ready for exercise. Haha! We Indian's believe in all these Planets and all their effects so, when they line up behind each other, their frequencies and energies will change and come down heavily on earth. Now those, who think negative will get negative and those who think positive will get positive . Thinking is your choice, Getting is not.

So , what you can do to rise up and be happy as per the knowledgeable ones and enlightened ones is:

1. Forgive and ask for forgiveness to all unconditionally. Never a better revenge then to forgive.
2. Meditate.
3.Gratitude to all.
4. Think what you want. Here we are. When we want what we want, we think what we want but end up thinking actually what we don't want. If we are sick, We think, I dont want to be sick. We can think instead like ' I am healthy and fine".
5. Love all.

End of story. See ya on 22nd.
Kuldip.

Small adventures turned big.

Ouu... Yes ! We are meeting almost again after a year and half... Just 1 Post in 2011... Even I cant believe myself . I am used to so much speaking and writing stuff that I could almost pass one whole year? Well It happens sometimes. Experimenting with colors here .Lets see how thee come up.

So much has passed in 2011 right? The great Anna effect and protest by him, I leaving my present Job at the starting of this year ( uh.. I mean ex job. hehehe) . My parents going to Canada with me being king of my house for almost 6 months.( Again legally 2 months as my dad came back after only 2 but remained out of station nevertheless) Wandering about and going and visiting distant places all alone . My niece born at end of year and in middle of this year almost... I am getting to see her almost everyday and playing with her.2 of my clicked pictures getting to be there in exhibition in Ahmadabad..... In short many many many.... things came and went by. But have you ever just packed your bags and went off to a place you have just thought of in your mind one fine day ? Yes You guessed it right guys. we are going to talk about that today.

Job can do you wonders when you get all weekend off. You get the urge to follow your wishes every weekend. One fine week, I had the urge to go and visit the one and only one hill station in Gujarat. I just called my uncle who arranged for a place to stay for 2-3 days and off I went the next week to Saputara with minimal belongings. 3 pair of clothes, camera, a book to read and my mood.

We sometimes feel the need to travel and see places.I am no exception. I asked my 2 friends if they wanted to come along but they were too busy to come. I thought what the heck !  I will go alone with myself.
:)  I went to the bus station to get into the bus at 8 pm . The bus didn't  come and I was stranded there for full 5 hours. My dad would call me to come home, but when one goes about to win a war... does he come empty handed. No. I waited till 12 am or pm or midnight, whatever you call.  I was going to lose my patience and go home defeated when the next bus came and it looked like it had came just for me. As soon as I stepped into the bus, it started off without waiting a minute more.

The journey was uneventful except for the fact that the morning came about with a puncture . God gave me an opportunity to do some photography in and around till repairs were done. 8 hours later I was there in saputara. I expected it to be a big place . But it is smaller then a small city. 6000 people only as per census of 2001. If we guess at 2011 census it would be , lets say only 10,000 people. I just loved the place from where the saputara area starts. Greenery , forests, Rivers flowing. The area starts at dang or vaghai.

I soon found out my abode for 3 days on entering saputara. It was a small guesthouse covered with garden.
Being monsoon, Flowers were blooming at their best and greenery was giving itself a stiff competition.
I rested in my small room for some time and in afternoon went about sightseeing. My remaining stay there consisted of this timetable. Waking up at 5 30 in morning to enjoy the beautiful sunrise, Walk or jogging depending on my mood for half hour, Nasta on the way back, back to the room , bathing , reading newspapers, again wandering off and having my lunch at about 1 , coming back to the room, sleeping, resting on the veranda late evening and that's it.. By about 8 pm, the streets of saputara are almost deserted being a jungle area. It is one of the last station before Gujarat ends and maharashtra begins. Dinner you might ask me, My dinner consisted of 1 glass of milk or lime juice  or 1 coffee and sandwich.

During my 3 days stay, it rained for almost half a day one day,  so I had to be content with sitting on a chair on the veranda and stare at the vast jungle down there. My rest house  rested on a high altitude, So I could see 10  kms down . What a sight It was. Greenery. Steep land, Jungle , Serpent like roads and people on other side enjoying.  With no tensions on my mind, I just sat there the whole afternoon contemplating, watching birds, dozing off and meditating in the cool breeze. I also saw a very clear bright lightening stick across the hill with a clear force. It was just WOW. I also saw some horses roaming freely like cows do in early morning. Wow. I have a small dream of owing a horse one fine day and riding it in the city.

Saputara is a place worth visiting if you want to learn something about tribals ( Adivasis) and their culture. It has a museum specially dedicated for it. It also boasts of rearing bees or taming bees which we call it horticulture if I am not wrong. It is also famous for sunrise and sun set points . It is also famous for wild animals and  leopards as well.

Speaking of leopards, let me tell you a real story. Its about me. On the second day, I wanted to see the sunrise so I got up at about 5 30 am , and readied myself to go up the hill to see sunrise. As I had to climb the hill a little bit, I decided to take a long stick so that I could support myself in rough land.  I soon reached there and sun was just about to rise. What a beautiful sight it was. The sunrise is always beautiful to watch when you are in nature's lap and there is greenery all around you with support of mountains. It was like the mountains were calling me to sit in their laps forever and be one with them. If it would not have been the love for my mother and love for my job as well, I would never have came down from there and would have become a wandering sadhu.

What does one do when one is on top of the mountain in early morning with absolutely no one around? Yes!  Shout out aloud your top desires and what you normally want to say it loud but don't want others to listen. I did just that. I let out my most desires in a loud way and echoing myself. That's called freedom , ha. I was reminded of a song at that time. " Tanha dil.. tanha safar.. "And just as I calmed down, I started meditating for 15 mins in that silent void. Now guess what did I see when I woke up and started to see the surroundings around me. I saw a small animal figure at a distant coming out from the forest like trees . At first, I thought it was a dog or a fox, but as it came closer, I got the shock of my life. It was an adult leopard.  I was face to face with a leopard without a zoo, a circus, without any barrier between us. It also noticed me and we looked into each other's eyes for around 3-4 mins looking for any movement or any signal. I could have ran but it would have caught me in just 2-3 jumps and I would have forever gone as missing in police files. My grand father had told me once not to turn your back and run when you are confronted with a wild animal but to just look for some cues and just stand. I did just that. Running as I said would have been meaningless. The leopard must not have the mood for a fat breakfast so it just turned away and went back into the wilds. Thanks grand dad, you saved me after all these years.

The last day , I hired a cab which took me down to see the waterfalls. There were about 3 waterfalls and as always they were magnificent. Unfortunately, swimming is not allowed there. I came back and packed and went to the bus station and boarded the bus at about 8. On my way back, I made a promise . I will again and again keep returning back to see this wonderful land and explore more which was left. I could not see the sunset , the bee man and the locals performing dances.

Bas aise hee

Hey friends....
This time we are meeting after almost 7 months and yes! happy new year to you all..
this time i came late with same reason..job hunting but at end i got the job... so its with a minor difference..

What is my job you would sure like to ask ... well... I got job in a German based engineering firm located outside/inside the city. and what do i have to do?
Work on SAP system making purchase orders..and stuff....

Unique are the god's ways... I was praying constantly to the guy up there to give me a good sitting job away from my natural marketing jobs and away from my city.. possibly even outside gujarat. He accepted my prayers in a partial way though, he gave me a job in a reputed German engineering firm with which i would get a SAP experience and go ahead and where? You can say, its in the district i live in.. you can also say.. its outside the district... I got a job near Savali village near vadodara right near the expressway of Baroda-Ahmedabad. Top of it all, I get Weekend off as is the norm nowdays for MNC... so i can pursue my interests there. And I am loving it! Of course you have to love it when you eat hot "bhajiyas and samosas every week in office or every 3rd day sometimes for some reasons.hahahaha right, We do celebrate the weekend with this hot breakfast.

So much has happened during these 7 months... life, people, country etc etc.
I got a nice camera for my interest in photography.. Of course its just a small digital camera and not Hi fi like Nikon and Canon... but I am loving it and have shot some nice shots... Want to see some? http://www.facebook.com/album.php?id=1163499024&aid=2067367.
plus the two beautiful images at the starting of this page also signifies it...
Hows the butterfly by the way guys? It is sitting like its modelling for the photo session..You can see it in my facebook link... and one of them is already posted here..This time we are meeting after almost 7 months and yes! happy new year to you all..
this time i came late with same reason..job hunting but at end i got the job... so its with a minor difference..

Sometimes when you get something good... then also you always yearn for more... if only i would have got this much more.. if only i would have got this post.. This IF ONLY always comes in middle...
just like Our P.M Mr. Manmohan singh said last week... "I am not alone responsible for all the things that happened... Dont make me a scapegoat". Ya right! We all know under whom you function and who is the Real prime minister. If only the scams would not have happened. hee haw....

Photography...one of man's psychological desire to capture something outside his limits of memory so as to remember and see for later time... I wonder how it must have started as a hobby when one of the earliest cameras must have been invented and then transformed into a professional thing. Fashion photography, nature photography, candid photography, dark photography and yes! Right photography for films also.
Man and his unique ways to come up and be recognised. Surely a matter of research.
and what cameras... first it was kodak and other simple cameras , started with roles of 36 and then slowly moved to digital cameras where you can actually see what you are going to shoot and do the settings.. settings for inside, settings for sunrise/sunset, settings for pets shooting.. etc etc... list goes on and to where it is now.. smile photography where the camera shoots only when you smile .. but what if one does not wanna smile and just give a serious pose? hmmm then buy another serious camera. HAHAHA. Now Canon and Nikon rocks the market coming up with various cameras of different alphanumerical names. D700, D300, 78P . Shakespeare if alive today would have revised his line and said " there are many things in name buddy"

And yes! One surprise for me last week as well.. I passed my D.C.A,yes I now have 2 degrees . ha!.. yes that last exam I was talking about in my last blog , I just had to do and submit a project and I did submit a project.. hohoho...

lots of things to be written... yet less time.. things on amitabh bacchan, things on photography, philosophy , village people and their simple ways... but with time.. passes the time and with passing of the time... passes the man.. wow...good line what say? Man going abroad to earn more.. man coming back to earn more...people earning just good enough and living satisfactory...And a man living in a mansion called antilla with tag of most richest man in world and generating light bill of 40 lakhs in his home of just 5 persons.. is not this paradox? where the same energy can be useful to other poor people in country, the energy is used in his 5 -8 storey house for just 5 people. ha!

will come soon with a serious post next time.. this was just a hi hello type for the new year..
